Cheryl Nice was born into the Mennonite Colony of Denbigh in Newport News,Virginia. Her father was a partner in Nice Brothers, one of the oldest and most respected home builders on the Peninsula. And under his tutelage, Cheri learned all that he knew about real estate and the home building business. Cheri graduated from Virginia Tech in Finance, and later earned her MBA degree at Golden Gate University in California. Following her graduation, she entered into the high tech world working for Electronic Data systems, Hewlett Packard and several other high tech start up firms based in California.
After returning to Virginia from California with her new family, she partnered in developing the largest home development subdivision in Gloucester county history. During that subdivisions build out, Cheri was responsible for the marketing and sales of the 240 homes. Cheri now works with Liz Moore and Assoc as one of their top agents. In addition to her real estate sales career, she and her husband are Real Estate investors. The majority of the properties they buy are to flip. But their goal is to add a rental property to their portfolio each year. Based on her own proclivity to invest in real estate, she attracts and works with many local investors. Cheri has both her Virginia real estate and broker’s license. She lives in Yorktown with her husband Ken, and their three children Preston, Brendan, and Sarah.
